2021.09.20 16:41 Worldly_Delivery5267 First played this game back in 2010 when I was in early highschool. Going back to this game is always a treat especially after the second. Like an Epilogue part three if your will.

2021.09.20 16:41 Downtown_Ad_2438 The opinion no one asked for - my own.
So I'm writing this all out just so I can get my thoughts in order and to farm that sweet sweet karma.
My background, typically I don't have the time or desire to play more than one build per league. That held true here as I only played SST all the way through to the end. This is also the first league where I got all 40 challenges. Took me just shy of 13 1/2 days of play time to get there. I probably won't ever do that again, the EGG is not fun.
But enough about me, let's talk about..... me some more, and my opinions.
Flask changes - I mostly like them, I never used flasks before as I just couldn't be asked to press that many keys. Now I just pop my Rotgot at the start of a map and it mostly stay's active for the duration. I do think the amount of charges monster's give, feels just a tad too low. I say this as even with a "+30% Increased Flask Charges" on my Belt and a 7 second duration flask, It felt as though if I didn't just zoom zoom, and ignore all other game mechanics, I could never keep enough charges.
Damage Reduction - On the whole not so bad as I thought it would be, but worse than I'd like. I thought the leveling process would be worse, but the added flat damage really did make the first 10 act's feel about the same as they did previously. It took me buying some hyper specific gear, "+3 Projectile Chest", to make the end game damage feel "Ok". So, I would like to ask for some of my damage back please and thank you.
Expedition - I enjoyed Tugen, and thats primarily because of how consistent in rewards he was. I see why people like Pog Rog, and Gwennen, but as I never really won any gambles I found them less enjoyable. Logbooks were really fun, I also like how not rare the bosses were. I typically would get a boss every 3 or 4 books and was able to complete about 75% of the conditionals by myself, before getting so frustrated that I paid someone to finish Uthred's.
Rant Section Ahead -
Awakened Gems - In trade league, I sold most of my Sirus fights because it was more profitable on the whole than actually taking the chance of getting garbage gem's. I know it's been mentioned that some of the power will return, but this is the one change that irked me the most. It feels like whoever came up with the idea to remove the power, decided to remove the fundamental thing that made those gems feel unique. When this game is already on the verge of becoming an excel spreadsheet game where you calculate % gains here and there, removing unique aspects off gems or hell even other unique items, just takes away from well the uniqueness of the game.
Unique Item's - Continuing with that train of though, It's been said that GGG would ideally like most end game equipment for most people to be rare's. While that's fine, I do think the game's unique item's are what set it apart and act as both a story telling device and interesting game mechanic. When you see something like a Kaom's Roots or Kaom's heart both of which alter play style in the same manner, they also impart a sense of what Kaom the character was like. It's indirect story telling and I think unique items have done an OK job of this. However item power creep has taken these item's from situationally useful to almost never picked. This takes away from the game, IMO. I would like to see more situations where Unique items are a much more solid pick.
First 40 Challenges - I'm never doing this again, the EGG was utterly unenjoyable for me. Just opening logbooks and blowing up 1 charge to get completion just felt wasteful and, well like a grind. I wish everyone the best who wants to do that from now on, but count me out.
We are now down to about 30 days before the next league so I'm gonna spend the next month playing any and everything else and will wait and see what GGG has in store for us then.

2021.09.20 16:41 xtnt316x XRPEOPLE.NET, Does anyone use?
Hello everyone, I’m new to the defi space. I have money with celsius and gemeni. But I’m been getting into some defi places as well. I have gotten onto anchor protocol and looking to diversify more. One of my clients have told me about xrpeople.net for lending out XRP. Rates are good and I have some money in there and some others I personally know have 30k plus. But the platform looks bare and not much from google just issues withdrawing funds. Anyone have personal experience using them. Looking for some more info or reviews on the site. I have added and withdrawn money, and staked but I’m not sure how much I trust this site. Thanks!

2021.09.20 16:41 Ioannis113 Is the flute actually easy to get into?
I am a 22 years old guy and I would like to learn a musical instrument. I would like to get into something that is portable and not too difficult to learn(not master ,obviously that is a different issue altogether).
Do you think the flute would be a good choice?

2021.09.20 16:41 deadlychambers Denver guy looking for a good hike
Hey I am doing a Euro trip, and currently riding the train to Bern as was suggested by a friend I met in München. I was hoping to see the Alps in a way someone that is familiar with mountains gets to see mountains. I am traveling for a total of 5 weeks, but only 2 days in Bern (because omg Switzerland is really expensive). I know what the Rocky Mountains look like, but I would love to get the opportunity to hike out here, preferably by a local. I get into Bern at 10, and I'd be down to grab a drink/food tonight, or 2maro sometime. DM me, or fort_wayne_shane on gram.

2021.09.20 16:41 clippycactus How to stop a pitbull attack:
Just from watching pitbull attack videos on reddit, I gathered:
Grabbing by the hind legs doesn't work.
Sticking a finger up the butt doesn't work.
Pepper spray / baseball bats don't work.
Tazers don't work (well, maybe sometimes it does).
This is my counterexample list so far for anyone who comments under a pitbull video saying "but if only the bystanders tried _______-ing it!"
I haven't seen anyone use a break stick effectively yet, and I left guns out deliberately.
Feel free to add on with anything.

2021.09.20 16:41 Metalp3n There’s A Certain Nostalgia That Vanguard Brings About - And For That I’m Keeping My Pre-Order
Amidst the fact that this beta doesn’t work at 120hz on my XSX. That it does in-fact periodically crash my entire system and forces it to shut off. That the graphics do look dated, to put it nicely. That faces are blobs of pixels. Despite all that - there’s a certain beautiful nostalgia that this game brings about.
Growing up on Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Medal of Honor, Enemy Territory - I’ve long missed that style of gameplay. The castles and snowy maps. The less-than-perfect map design. The fast pace of the front line. This is what I was hoping CoD WW2 would be - but it wasn’t. Vanguard however feels just like it. Even as I run around and see familiar guns laying around - I’m reminded of those classic titles. Of the first few CoD games. And I can’t help but keep playing. And while there’s ALOT of room for improvement. I get it. And honestly - I’m looking forward to the full release.
Sure - RtCW and MOH titles were cheaper. Enemy Territory was free. But it’s a different time. Things cost more.
