2021.09.20 16:23 MsOcampoWrites The Artist's Way

Savy & RK: So if and when y'all decide to do The Artist's Way for a week, here are some things you need to know!

  1. Morning Pages: Three 8.5"-11" pages handwritten, stream of consciousness. Just write whatever comes to mind, but don't write along to music, not even instrumental. It's also preferred that you do the Pages as soon as you wake up.
  2. Artist's Date: Go by yourself to somewhere cool, somewhere that appeals to your inner child.
  3. Weekly Walks: Differs from the Artist's Date, but you guys should have an easy time with this.
That's just the basics. If you dive deep and decide to do the whole ting, I wish you the best of luck!

2021.09.20 16:23 bowels-of-holly My (25F) childhood best friend (25M) hand been distance, and I don't know what to do

He had BF practically grew up together. In the same small town, or dads worked together, etc. We have had a lot of fun, you know, for like 20 years. He never dated, but we have occasionally been fwb. But I think I alienated him.
At the start of the summer, he got into a new living arrangement with a new roommate. RM and I hit it off instantly. At first were were just fwb. But lately, we have been talking about making things more serious.
Now when I come over, he just goes on his room. Sometimes he goes out by himself. He doesn't go out with us any more. Obviously he is jealous or something. He is a sweet guys he my life long friends, but I just don't see him they way. He isn't my type, tbh. How to I save out friendship and still stay with RM?

2021.09.20 16:23 battle_cat_heman piano type?

My wife wants a piano so our young children can start taking lessons. Lots of free upright pianos in my area (denver), although I might hurt myself moving them though. Anyways I am trying to convince her to get a digital piano. Her concern is it will look tacky, but I have found some with nice wood finishes for a few thousand or less. I don't want to mess with moving a used piano then paying constantly to get it tuned if the digital one will do the job (kids learning piano). Am I missing anything? Digital seems to be the way to go. Is there certain features I should make sure a digital piano has? Thanks.
